Improvement in Gross Profits Due to Reduction in Duplication Costs
Americana Publishing, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: APBI) announced today that gross profits should improve significantly in the 3rd quarter of 2004 over the comparable quarter in 2003, a projected increase of some 20%. George Lovato, Jr., Chairman and CEO of Americana Publishing, Inc. said, "This is a positive sign of improvement of company performance. Our reduced costs associated with our ability to purchase raw materials at more favorable prices and integration of our duplication facility are now contributing to more positive top line results."
Since February of 2004, Americana Publishing, Inc. has the capacity to produce, duplicate and package its audio product in-house. This duplication facility is expected to expand in 2005 in order to meet expected increased demands of Americana Publishing, Inc.'s product line.
